Issue of License to market functionaries under section 13(2) of
the Act.

Whenever a market committee is established in an area no people can run his business of agricultural product without obtaining a license, as per Section 13(2) of AAPM Act 1972, as follows

1. A Trader or Commission agent who desires to obtain a license under section 13(2) shall apply in form A(to be submitted in duplicate) to the Chairman of the Board through the market committee of the market area in which he wishes to carry on his business and shall deposit with the committee the required license fee.
2. A broker or a weighman or Measurer or surveyor or Warehouseman desirous of obtaining license under section 13(2) of the Act shall apply in form D (to be submitted in duplicate) to the chairman of the Board through the market committee of the market area in which he wishes to carry on his business and shall deposit with the committee the required fee.
3. The license fee for license issued under this rule shall be ten rupees per annum or part thereof.

Renewal of License to Market Functionaries under Rule 13

A license granted under section 13 of the act and rule 12 shall be valid for a period of which it is issued and shall subject to any order passed under section 13 of the Act or Rule 12 be renewable by the authority granting it, on payment of the annual fee prescribed for the issue of such license. An application for the renewal of license shall be made at least 30 days before the date on which the license is due to expire. Renewal application shall be made in form-F for a Trader or a Commission Agent and in form-G for a Broker or a Weighman or a Measurer or a Surveyor or a Warehouseman.
